Julie Christensen

Julie Christensen’s story is woven into decades of the fabric of underground and roots rock ’n’ roll. Julie tells her stories, conveying the beauty of suffering with a subtlety that has become her signature,  no matter what the genre they are sung in. "One of the truer singers you’ll ever hear — straight up, no mannerisms, perfect taste; recognize how she could sing with both Leonard Cohen and Chris D." LA WEEKLY

Julie co-fronted post-punk rockers Divine Horsemen, and is a veteran of Leonard Cohen's bands and the documentary "Leonard Cohen-I'm Your Man".  She also spent time as a jazz chanteuse, tours, has performed and recorded in the studio with Steve Wynn, Van Dyke Parks, John Doe, Exene Cervenka, Alejandro Escovedo.  In September 2018 Julie was inducted into the Iowa Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Fame in the “Women Who Rock” category.

Julie’s record, “11 From Kevin: Songs of Kevin Gordon” is out now on Wirebird Records. A tribute to the Nashville songwriter, this album was co-produced by Brett Ryan Stewart of WireBird Productions and Christensen, who crafted an album that almost refuses to be genre-typed.

“Find My Way,” the first song on the album was premiered by Glide Magazine.

“Christensen gives it a bluesy Southern rock treatment that brightens the track even more. Her vocals get amplified by greasy slide guitar and even more soloing than the original, ultimately giving the track a full sound that truly showcases just how great of a songwriter Gordon is while also putting her vocals in the spotlight.”

Julie’s new record, "The Price We Pay For Love,” produced by Terry Lee Burns and Christensen, will be out in April on WireBird Records. Pre-order the record here. The first single “Can’t Find My Way Home,” is out now! Listen here.

Jason Erie

Jason has established himself as a “must know” act in the renowned East Nashville Americana scene and a rising star in the Americana scene abroad. His first studio offering The Art of Letting Go garnered widespread critical acclaim and landed the #28 slot on the Roots Music Report Americana chart. The Music Mermaid said, “The thing about Erie is that he’s not just a wildly talented musician — he’s a poet, a gut-puncher, a soul-shaker, an artist so in tune with the special ways that words can be spun.”

Jason’s new record, “Tiny Fires” is out now on Wirebird Records.

Jessi Robertson

Born in a small upstate New York town of fewer than 1,000 people, Robertson moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2003, and then Nashville, Tennessee in 2018.

As a musician, Robertson rides the divide between indie iconoclasts such as PJ Harvey and Americana vanguards such as Lucinda Williams. Embracing these contradictions, her songs are as intimate as confessions, as cathartic as confrontations, and often injected with dark, wry humor. Her voice moves easily from lullaby crooning to wild rock and roll wailing, and her writing expertly explores themes of love, betrayal, darkness, and redemption.

Robertson, a prolific songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (rhythm guitar, piano, organs, and synths), has also released a slew of singles on both SoundCloud and Bandcamp, and in addition to performing regularly in both Nashville and New York City, she volunteers for MusiCares, a charity that helps support musicians in need.

Jessi’s latest single ‘Taking Out Monsters” is out now on WireBird Records, produced by Brett Ryan Stewart of WireBird Productions.
